We have completed enrollment for the MRI sub-study! MRIs (Magnetic Resonance Images) are considered the best non-invasive test for detecting a meniscal tear. While the MeDOA Study is designed to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of clinical history and physical exam, the sub-study is focused on the imaging component and aims to confirm the diagnostic accuracy of the clinical history and knee examination in patients with symptomatic meniscal tears in the presence of knee osteoarthritis. Using the data acquired from MeDOA and the MRI reports, we have begun analysis to understand the associations of clinical exam findings and symptoms with the presence of a meniscal tear.
